We invite you to share your feedback on the Simulating Silence learning resource. Your responses help us improve the resource and provide evidence of educational impact for the Research Excellence Framework (REF) 2029.
All evaluation instruments are designed with privacy in mind. Results are reported only in aggregate, with small-n suppression to protect individual responses.
⚠️ Important: Age Requirement for Learner Survey
The learner survey is for adults (18+) only, including undergraduate students and other adult learners.
For school settings with minors, the project does not collect pupil survey responses online. See the section below for guidance on school-based evaluation.
Available Evaluation Instruments
📚 For School Settings with Minors
This project does not collect online survey responses from individuals under 18. If you teach secondary school students and wish to evaluate their engagement with the resource:
- Teacher feedback only: Please use the Teacher Feedback form above to share your professional observations of student reception in aggregate form.
- Local evaluation: You may conduct your own classroom-based evaluation using your institution's approved methods. We do not collect or receive individual pupil questionnaires.

🔒 Privacy & Data Handling
- All surveys are anonymous—no personal data is collected unless you explicitly opt in
- Teacher feedback collects aggregate observations only; any inadvertent student identifiers will be redacted
- Data is stored securely on Netlify (US) with GDPR-compliant transfer mechanisms
- Withdrawal is possible within 30 days of submission by emailing with your submission date/time
- Results are reported only in aggregate with small-n suppression
